Tiger Woods has had a rough year, but that didn’t stop him from connecting with fans and haters alike in a way that nobody saw coming.
Wednesday morning, the famed pro golfer tweeted from a spanking-new @TigerWoods account: “What’s up everyone. Finally decided to try out twitter!”
In a following post, Woods gushed about enjoying the social network. “Yep, it’s me. I think I like this twitter thing. You guys are awesome. Thanks for all the love.”
This new addition to the Twitterverse comes as Tiger decides to open up to Newsweekabout his troubles stemming from last year’s allegations of infidelity in his marriage to Elin Nordegren.
